Boro Ichi
Boro Ichi is a great big flea market that runs for two days in December and two days in January. There are over 700 stalls. We came home with a sword for Bruce, kokeshi dolls for the girls, and plenty of little odds and ends for me. We also came home with two original paintings- one of cats for the girls, and one of sheep in a meadow for me. I haven’t taken pictures of them, so I’ll have to post them some other time.
We also found chiyaga bata – baked potato slathered in butter that is pure festival food, and is seriously the best baked potato I’ve ever had.
We also found this fellow, who I’m choosing to believe is Santa.Speaking of Santa…
