Projects of the week
Here’s some pics of what Z and I have been up to this week. (Have I mentioned that I LOVE my new little camera?)
LIZ, DON’T READ THIS. REALLY. LOOK AWAY NOW. UNLESS IT’S AFTER EASTER. THEN IT’S OK. SERIOUSLY. WALK AWAY NOW. GO LOOK AT THE CUTE PICTURES ON THE GIRLS’ SITES.
I found those cardboard letters on sale at Joann, and Z did most of the work- she painted them and stuck almost everything on (with a little placement guidance from me- she has a tendency to pile everything up), except for the flowers which required hot glue. They turned out super cute, and they look awesome on her wall.
I got a Zutter Bind-it-all for my birthday, and have been experimenting making different kinds of albums. I made this one for my sister out of old, used up gift cards covered in cardstock, and the index prints that come when you order prints from Shutterfly. Z helped glue the pictures on and stick on stickers. The phrase on the cover is especially apropos as Liz and I often express our dislike for certain individuals with the comment: “I hate her face!”.
All in all it has 8 pages, and turned out pretty cute, I think. It was fun and easy to make, and a great way to use those little tiny pictures that I never have any use for, but hold on to, just in case.
That’s all for now, what are you up to?
You really are super crafty and creative. Also – I hope you don’t hate my face.
I could never hate your face. 🙂
