Japan! Daikanyama

Last Saturday we went out to explore Daikanyama, a cool little neighborhood not far from us. These pictures are random, but I thought they’d give a different view of Tokyo from all of the parks I’ve been posting. 🙂

We had lunch at a place called Sign, and this was what was on the ceiling, like a giant Settlers of  Catan board. The girls loved it.

These guys were outside a clothing store:

This lovely stuffie was for sale:

A sign for a salon that reminded me of my group of short haired friends.

A cool, very tall statue.

I love the juxtaposition of older, traditional buildings, and newer buildings.

This sign made me smile, especially the copious use of commas.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree….

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
