At this moment
in my house right now:
Z is watching a Clifford Halloween movie. She got to pick it out of the “potty box” because she pooped on the potty TWICE today. (I’m sure you really wanted to know that. ) She is anxiously counting down the days to Halloween and to Monster Day, the day before Halloween when she will have her Halloween Monster Party.
Tiny has unnumbered teeth coming in. She is miserable. We are all commiserating with her, mainly because she is very loud.
My brain is broken. I just checked in on a blog that is written by my friend’s sister-in-law. She’s a hoot, and I’ve been reading her blog for a while. Today, she referenced her “little brother and his family” who are living in England for 6 months, and I thought, “Wow, that sounds just like Stephanie! Oh my gosh, are they related?” Um, DUH. As I said, broken.
I just sent out an evite for our first book club meeting, happening later this month. We’re reading To Kill a Mockingbird. If you live near me and are interested, let me know. If you live near me and aren’t interested in reading the book and just want a night out, let me know, you’re still welcome to come. Not that I’m thinking of anyone in particular… 🙂
I’m also reading Nurture Shock by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman, and it is FASCINATING! If you have kids or have anything to do with kids, you should read it. Seriously, it’s SO good.
I just put orajel on Tiny’s gums and now she’s eating a pear. I’m kind of worried she’s going to bite her tongue or something, cuz you know that stuff gets EVERYWHERE.
I’m trying to get Christmas presents figured out so I can get working on them now. I’m planning on doing some easy sewing projects for presents, but if I don’t start now they’ll catch up to me at the end. And I just don’t need that.
What’s going on in your house right now?
What if we are no where near you (so sad) and want to read the book anyway?
I’m cleaning the dining room and catching up on my blogging, etc.
I loves you Maryanne!
I’m so glad we’re starting up a new book club. I wanted to start a “slutty book club” for so long. I just couldn’t manage shakespeare since… well, since I graduated from high school. Maybe I read one in college.
maybe.
I think my silly husband has something the night of book club though. Booo to him….
calcium takes the pain out of teething. if you’re nursing, she’s not getting enough from you. natural teething products have calcium in them if she’s no longer nursing. you don’t have to publish this, i just wanted to share since your little one is suffering so.
I am so happy for you that Zoe actually pooped in the toilet!! Tell her Ana says that’s what all the really cool girls do. 🙂 We miss you guys!
