Blondie
So….. after the overwhelming vote for blonde, the change was made. I was going to get it done in a salon and then my appointment got moved and I’m nothing if not impulsive and impatient, so I decided to do it myself. This was perhaps not the wisest idea, but it all turned out ok.
Short story? Lots and lots of bleach. Yellow hair with orange sections. Light Ash Blonde dye, a force more powerful than any I have heretofore known. Approximately 10 hours later, the result:
It’s lighter than in those pictures, and the flash gives the illusion of some gold, which isn’t there at all. The flash also makes it look like it has sections of color, in reality it’s all the same color. I just can’t get a truly accurate picture. Maybe I need to take one outside. It’s super super pale and light. (Looking at the pictures again, the light color on the side of my head in the picture on the right is the most accurately representative.) I’m not convinced I love it yet, but I’m getting more used to it, and not embracing my first and second (and possibly third) instincts to just dye it dark again. I might get some gold highlights just to brighten it a little.

You know what they say…blondes have more fun!!! I hope you’ve rearranged your whole life so you can live up to that saying and have more fun! I think you look beautiful!! I totally think you should stick with the blond…I know it’s a big change, but change is good right? I say get some low lights, and I would definitely recommend some caramel in there and I think all your worries will be won over. Now I want to be blond again…. 🙂
