For my Auntie.

Who I don’t actually call Auntie, because Auntie Cindy doesn’t sound right, what with the both ending in “eee”. (There’s a whole internal logic for which Aunts are called Aunts and which are Aunties. But I love being called Auntie, and I love my Aunt Cindy, so I shall, for the purposes of this post, call her Auntie.)

This is the fabric I chose:

I got a layer cake of one 10 inch square of each pattern, so I’m still in the process of figuring out how I’m arranging them for the blanket. Zoe loves that part of the process. 🙂

I don’t think I’ve ever been called Auntie but I like it! I’m so glad you posted this fabric. I took Jill to the store to pick out the fabric for her quilt and this fabric reminds me of it! It’s so funky and fun!! She kept telling me blue like in the quilt I just made. What she meant was the blue dot inside the heart of the flower which was really turquoise and some of your fabric looks to be the same color. I’ll post her fabric when I go to the class to learn the technique next month. I’m excited to see how your quilt and Jill’s turn out!! Post it when it’s done! I wish you lived closer because I love creating with fabric and I would love to give those darling girls a hug!! Take care and thanks for posting this! Cindy

  2. Fun fabric! Are you a little quilter too?! If my Mom gets to be “Auntie” then what am I?! 😉
