Thanks giving day 3
Today (all days) I’m grateful for Bruce.
I’m grateful for him for a huge number of reasons, but today I’m grateful for him because he buys me presents. That sounds kind of mercenary, but gift giving/receiving is my main love language, and he totally gets that. And he consistently surprises me with presents that are perfect for me, and incredibly thought out.
Today a package came in the mail with a mini battery pack and charger for my iPhone. It’s small enough to carry around with you (half the size of my phone), and when your phone is running out of juice and you’re out and about, you just click this little puppy on and viola! More power. I’m always being caught unaware by my phone’s capricious battery indicator, and I CAN NOT stand being out with the girls without a phone. It makes me crazy imagining what could go wrong, and me with no phone. So this is incredibly perfect for me, and I didn’t even know it existed. But B did, and he thought of me, and he got it for me.
And that, my friends is love.
And for that, I am eternally thankful.

You, obviously, didn’t berate him about how that would affect your budget. My husband doesn’t do this anymore… possibly the berating had something to do with it.

I am going to tell you that I am a major fan of gifts too. THOUGHTFUL gifts that they actually put effort into. I’m so glad Bruce found you a sweet present such as a little battery pack. 😀 I totally understand.
