Thanks giving day…. 5? : At this moment edition
Right now:
Z is washing her hands. I am thankful for her step stool, and her ability to do things by herself.
Tiny is playing quietly. I am thankful she’s reached a point that she can do that.
I am eating a peanut butter cup. I’m thankful for that, and for Halloween candy.
It’s cold and rainy outside. I’m thankful I have a warm, cozy home from which to watch the weather.
B is up in San Francisco for work. I’m thankful for his job and for his stellar driving skills which will bring him home safely despite the rain.
I’m planning out some sewing projects – one I’m finishing up tonight, and a couple I’m going to start. I’m thankful for creativity and for my sewing machine.
What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that I started cutting out this project for a class I’m taking Saturday morning tonight bz I don’t have enough fabric! Tomorrow I’ll make a mad dash to the store and buy some more. The fabric wasn’t 44″ wide so I can’t get two cuts out of it only one, AUGHHH! I lack about 3/4 of an inch to make it work for the second cut. No wonder quilters always have a stash of scraps!
I am also thankful for peanut butter cups 🙂
AWh, I love our step stool too. It gives them a whole new world of things to do on their own.
