Making it Up As I Go

It’s my wedding anniversary today, and may I tell you why I’m grateful I’ve been married to this awesome guy for four years? Of course I can, it’s my blog and I can do what I want.

There are tons of reasons, but one of them can be summed up in the presents we exchanged today. I got him this, (except it wasn’t on sale when I bought it!) while he got me this (which I really really wanted, and it’s even super cooler than I thought it would be), and together we got this. I love that we both love to read, that we know and appreciate each other’s taste, and that we don’t have arguments over spending a bunch of money because one person thinks the purchase is trivial. The Xbox is awesome, we’re already enjoying it immensely.
The other reasons? There are too many to ennumerate here, but lets just say that he’s kind, thoughtful, goes out of his way to make sure I’m happy, works hard so that I can stay home, believes the same things I believe, works with me toward our goals; and he patiently listens to tracks from the new Christina Aguilera album despite his misgivings, and then agrees with me that she’s got an incredible voice. For those, and so many other reasons, I’m so grateful to be married to him, and thrilled that it will be forever.
