Boro Ichi

Boro Ichi is a great big flea market that runs for two days in December and two days in January. There are over 700 stalls. We came home with a sword for Bruce, kokeshi dolls for the girls, and plenty of little odds and ends for me. We also came home with two original paintings- one of cats for the girls, and one of sheep in a meadow for me. I haven’t taken pictures of them, so I’ll have to post them some other time.

We also found chiyaga bata – baked potato slathered in butter that is pure festival food, and is seriously the best baked potato I’ve ever had.IMG_7147
We also found this fellow, who I’m choosing to believe is Santa.IMG_7146Speaking of Santa…IMG_7156 IMG_7151
