The character of Kelly Kapoor on The Office is one of the great pleasures of watching the show. She’s hilarious, and cracks me up every time she’s on . The woman who plays her, Mindy Kaling, is one of the writers on the show, and she has her own blog all about things she buys.

OH. MY. DEAR GOODNESS.
Michael Cera is in final negotiations to play Scott Pilgrim in the film adaptation of the comic.
That is so unbelievably perfect I can’t handle it. I don’t usually geek out over such things, but I really am having to restrain myself from jumping up and down right now.
If you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about, go watch Arrested Development and read the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels. You have no idea what you’re missing.
(The fact that the movie was written and is being directed by the Shaun of the Dead director was already enough to make my brain explode with excitement, but this just pushes it over every possible edge.)

Those dern high schoolers
Alyssa tagged me to come up with a list of 6 Things Everyone Should Accomplish Before they Graduate High School. She thinks I’ll have opinions ab0ut it seeing as I’m a YW Pres., but seeing as I had a dream last night that I was screaming at the girls for being rude and told one of the girls that I really just needed her to shut up, maybe I’m not the most objective person. (I really do love the girls, not quite sure where the dream came from!) 
But, I put my mind to it, and this is what I came up with. Most are intended as ways to get kids out of that snotty, self-obsessed mindset everyone has in high school.

Call me lazy
Today is my birthday (hooray!) and seeing as I didn’t make my customary goals at New Years, I feel like I should follow my cousin Kim’s example and make some for this coming year of my life. Trouble is, I’m not in the mood to come up with any. So….. make me some goals! In the comments, post goals for me for the coming year, and maybe I’ll do them, and maybe I won’t, but I’ll be interested to see what you come up with! It can be your birthday present to me. Unless you already got me a present, or were planning to, in which case it will just be something a little extra.
